A leading property group has ensured it will be a winner at every race held at Warwick this season thanks to a new sponsorship deal.

The Wigley Group, a commercial property, risk and construction company based in Coventry, has moved from sponsoring races at the Jockey Club course, to a deal which will see its name in the winning enclosure for the next three seasons.

The company recently completed the creation of the Coronation Club for Premium members at the course which was built by Wigley Building and Development, the construction side of the firm.

James Davies, director of The Wigley Group, said: “We have ever closer ties with Warwick Racecourse over recent years and that has developed from us attending meetings, sponsoring individual races and days through to this full longer-term sponsorship.

“The management of the racecourse is doing a great job in raising the standards and the profile of the course and we know that our customers always have a really good experience when they join us at meetings.”

Warwick Racecourse stopped flat racing two years ago with the ambition of being the best small jumps racecourse in the country, and has two meetings in November and two in December including New Year’s Eve which is one of the best attended dates in its calendar.

Andre Klein, the general manager of Warwick Racecourse, said: “We are working hard to form closer links with local businesses and the Wigley Group is an ideal example of a very successful company with who we have a very successful relationship.”
