This former Alfred Herbert works site was purchased by The Wigley Group in the late 1970s making it the oldest investment in the Group’s portfolio. In that time large sections of the site have been sold to companies including Gallagher Retail Park, Atritor, Lidl, and DK Packing.
Sitting at the junction of the Stoney Stanton Road and Phoenix Way (A444) the area lies on the main gateway route from the M6 into the city. It is near to the Ricoh Arena which is home to Coventry City FC and Wasps Rugby Club.
The Group has retained ownership of the 30,000 sq ft Royal Mail North Hub, a 90,000 sq ft unit which is scheduled for redevelopment in the next 18 months and a 2.5 acre area of land.
In addition, The Wigley Group developed the adjacent Vantage Park which is made up of 4 units of between 4,000 and 12,000 sq ft. Units on the site have been sold to Vauxhall and Greene King.
The Wigley Group is proud to have turned this redundant manufacturing site into a vibrant, mixed use development in the north of Coventry.
